Cody finally came and helped them get the calf over to the stall. Yeah Dad!
Dysen came to help and he thought swatting the calf on the butt with a stick would get the thing moving. It didn't help.

Yesterday we had to vaccinate, dehorn and move the older calves. It had started out with just Cody and I and then one by one the kids came out to join the fun. The kids started taking turns trying to pull the calves over to the stall. Cody usually helps them by pushing the calf but this time he was busy doing something else. Halley and Brookley together were trying hard to get that calf to move. Without dads help it ended up being a lot harder than they thought.

Happy Birthday To You! Halley turned 7 on Feb. 15 we had a little party with grandma and grandpa Wright and Mike and Kellianns Family. We had it up at the Cabin so the kids could play in the snow. She got her birthday cupcakes so she was able to turn 7, because you know Halley she can't get older until she has cake.

Every year in Kindergarten they do the Kindy 500 where all the kids are suppose to make cardboard box cars. They then drive their cars around the school to visiting different nation monuments (Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, Lincoln Memorial ect.) Last year we made Halley a covered wagon and Brookley wanted something similar so we decided to advertise our business. She was so cute.

This is what happens everymorning all the kids end up in our bed. A big wrestling match usually follows and then Cody gets them up by steam rolling over all of them, getting up and running to hide. Of course they all get up to chase him. Even Pixie gets in on the action she gets Cody by licking him. He hates it!

Burrr Cold! That is a lot of snow. Dysen and Camery played in the snow while Brookley and Halley were at school. Cody had plowed all the snow from the driveway into a pile and Dysen had a great time sliding down it. Camery had a great time eating it. We had a lot of snow this winter and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Our new addition to our family

Welcome to life on the farm. We have been waiting for Cheela to have her babies. I had just checked on her and then walked by her twenty minutes later and she had delivered two babies. I was sad I wanted to see her have them. We sat down and watched her and her babies for awhile when she started pushing again. I did get t0 see her deliver the last kid and I so nicely caught it on camera so I could share it with you. This black one is a boy and she had two white ones that look just like her, one being a boy and the other a girl. As soon as they are big enough we will be renting them out for lawn mowers so make your reservation soon before they are all booked.

This is the kids head sticking out with the sack still around it. Cool Huh!

I don't know what I'm doing consider yourself warned
